sigh, and now we're right back to 480p hell. :(
fansubbers couldn't even get Poirot or Columbo right? lol! cmon! Agatha Christie's famous French detective and one of American Television's most famous detectives? the episode even did a picture of BOTH actors famous for the roles !
we also now know the name of the cafe on the 1st floor of Kogoro's building. :> once more, the mangaka uses a famous detective to name something. :> heh!
Decent episode but I wouldn’t rewatch it as much
lmao sometimes mouri has his moments. this man went from "im a detective and life is tough" to buying groceries for his daughter like it was mission impossible lmao
15:47, lol "What's wrong in hell?", was probably supposed to be 'What the hell is going on?' or 'What on earth?'
Bad sub episode, though not as bad as previous ones.
This was actually a pretty nice case, it doesn't need to be a murder case all the time. However they should have let Kogoro do much better, not only is this not a murder case this is also pretty much his main job, searching for and investigating people.
I appreciate Conan fansubs so much for allowing me to experience this amazing show, but I can't help but laugh at some of the translations. Like, I want to give an award and a handshake to the person that wrote "What's wrong in hell" as the translation of Dou iu koto
Yeah I know but I’m fine with it
around the 120th episode, theres a bunch of them with character names in chinese like here, only that it was much more obnoxious back than.
Lol
Kogoro really never learns.
omg the subs for this episode are absolutely weird as heck
Ummm japs sure goes all out calling that man fat everytime he is mention so why aint fatt ass fuck Genta getting same hate and the even fatter Megure and fat pedo professor i no idea just love japs fat shaming si why i fucking hate their guts and call em micro dicks Pedos
you're so... 😭😭😭😭😭
The subs are a bit hard to comprehend on this episode, I don't understand the trick and motive at all tbh but I love "Little Monster" for Conan
the politician who's in the van with the loudspeaker throughout the episode trying to drum up votes was asking for and giving out bribes from the names in the phone.
some of the names were places, such as businesses or neighborhood associations. the names with a dot paid the politician off, the names without a dot were being paid off BY the politician. the weird long phone numbers were a code. the first four numbers represented the month and day a bribe happened. the last digits represented the amount of the bribe.
the guy in the dark glasses worked for that politician and was trying to get the phone's evidence so he offered to pay off the reporter. the dead reporter mistakenly left the phone as a 'dead drop' at Cafe Poirot instead of Columbo the Italian Restaurant. Poirot is Agatha Christie's French detective, and Columbo was a famous American TV detective.
the guy in the dark glasses gave up the reporter's home phone number that he got from the cellphone company and the cops searched the reporter's home. they found even more evidence of the politician's bribes and arrested the politician.
Lol
i liked this case so far but then at the end it got political... that ruined it for me. i hate politics and crimes involving embezzlement, bribery... etc
it's so not interesting to me so...
ouch, quality downgrade..
double ouch, the subtitles ...
12:56 "Miss Zi" instead of "Azusa"? Did they not even listen to the episode? That and the "Chinese character" instead of "Kanji" from earlier kinda makes me conclude they just took the Chinese subs and hastily mangled them into English.
did they actually call Conan "Little Monster?"
5:27 Clews lmao
Yeah, subs aren't the best but at least they're relatively comprehensible!
Don't have much to say tbh. Just a nice fun episode :)
